Refund and Returns Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal and Returns Period

Under the European Union Consumer Rights Directive, you have a legal right to cancel your order (Right of Withdrawal) within 14 calendar days from the day you received the goods without giving any reason.

As an enhanced service, PAPADOPOULOS NIK & SIA OE extends this return period to 30 calendar days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange, unless the item is proven to be defective.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return within the 30-day period, your item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Be in the original packaging with all tags, instructions, and accessories included.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or other proof of purchase (e.g., an order confirmation email).

3. Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, based on their nature or hygiene reasons. These include:

  • Perishable goods such as food, flowers, or newspapers/magazines.
  • Intimate or sanitary goods (e.g., pierced jewelry, opened cosmetics, underwear).
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable software products.
  • Products sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, if the seal has been broken after delivery.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

4. Partial Refunds

There are specific situations where only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Items where packaging for media (CD, DVD, software, vinyl record) has been opened.
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.

5. Refunds Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved:

  • The refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
  • The refund will be completed within 14 calendar days from the day we receive the returned goods (or proof that you have shipped them, if earlier).

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund within the 14-day processing period, please take the following steps:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as there is often processing time before a refund is posted.

7. Sale Items

Only regular-priced items and items returned within the initial 14-day legal withdrawal period are eligible for a full monetary refund.

For sale items returned after the 14-day legal period but within the 30-day extended policy, we reserve the right to offer an exchange or store credit of equal value instead of a monetary refund.

8. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

If you need to exchange a defective item for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

9. Shipping Returns

A. Initial Shipping Costs

If you are returning an item under the 14-day Right of Withdrawal, we will refund the original cost of shipping, but only up to the amount of the cheapest standard delivery method we offer. If you chose a more expensive option (e.g., express shipping), the additional cost will not be refunded.

B. Return Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is faulty or damaged. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
